Position Overview

Afair Healthcare is seeking compassionate and reliable Skilled and Non-Skilled In-Home Care Providers — including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Aides (PCA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and general caregivers.

In this role, you will support clients in the safety and familiarity of their homes. Depending on your credentialing and experience, responsibilities may include clinical care, personal care assistance, emotional support, companionship, and functional support services.

Primary Responsibilities

For Skilled Care Providers (RN, LPN/LVN, CNA):

Perform skilled nursing tasks according to care plans and clinical standards.

Provide medication administration, wound care, vitals monitoring, and other skilled interventions.

Document all care accurately and communicate changes in client condition to the clinical team.

Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and Afair Healthcare supervisors.

Support rehabilitation, chronic care, oncology care, and post-acute recovery plans.

For Non-Skilled Care Providers (CNA, PCA, HHA, Caregivers):

Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.

Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.

Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.

Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement.

Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment.

Provide transportation support for errands and medical appointments.

Qualifications

Skilled Providers:

Active Texas RN or LPN/LVN license in good standing.

CNA certification (if applicable).

Experience in home health, oncology, post-acute, or chronic care preferred.

Proficiency in documenting clinical notes and communicating with interdisciplinary teams.

Non-Skilled Providers:

Experience as a caregiver, PCA, HHA, or in a similar role preferred.

Strong understanding of personal care, mobility assistance, and safety practices.

Compassion, reliability, and the ability to create trust with clients and families.

General Requirements for All Applicants:

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain if required).

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.

High school diploma or equivalent for non-skilled roles.
